Two LeChase projects earn AIA New York design honors

Two projects built by LeChase have earned New York State recognition for their designers. The American Institute of Architects (AIA) New York presented 2020 Excelsior Awards of Merit to:

Both projects were honored in the New Construction category.

The Excelsior Awards honor excellence in state-funded building design, with projects reflecting effective collaboration between the design and construction teams. On June 16, the AIA shared a virtual awards luncheon with the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of New York. AGC presented its 2020 Jeffrey J. Zogg Build New York Awards during the event, with LeChase accepting its previously announced Zogg Award for NVRC. The project will receive a national Build America Merit Award from AGC this fall.

NVRC and RIT Cybersecurity Institute won AIA NY Excelsior Awards
