Ribbon cutting marks completion of RIT Performing Arts Center project

On April 10, LeChase joined the Rochester Institute of Technology and other project partners in a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating completion of the new Performing Arts Center. LeChase Chairman and CEO Bill Goodrich, President Kyle Sayers and Senior Vice President Lee Sommerman attended the event, along with members of the project team.

The completed four-story facility features a 750-seat theater with two balconies and infrastructure for a restored, historic theater organ to be installed this summer. In addition to the main performance hall, the center includes a dedicated rehearsal space, costume and scene shops, office areas, and a variety of public and backstage support spaces.

LeChase served as construction manager on the project – working with architects SWBR and Michael Maltzan Architecture – through its Rochester office.
