The organization was founded in 1986 and includes more than 100 members – mainly MWBE program administrators from both public and private organizations in the state. Their goal is to ensure that all segments of the community have an equitable opportunity to participate in contracts for professional services, procurement and construction.

The group honored Denise for her advocacy on behalf of small and minority businesses.
