LeChase was one of six general contractors to recently participate in the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) Construction Management Training program.

LeChase’s session, held December 18 in Charlotte, was led by Senior Project Managers Barbara Lytle and Kenneth Brown and Regional Diversity Manager Denise Barnes. The LeChase representatives provided knowledge and insight to help the HCAC attendees build their commercial networks. They also explained how to access new opportunities and shared best practices to help the contractors grow their businesses.

The training program is one way HCAC works to fulfill its mission of providing the necessary resources to ensure the continued progress of its members, while promoting the long-term success of Hispanic-owned construction businesses in the Carolinas. In addition to the LeChase session on Growing your Business, the program featured sessions by other contractors who covered topics that included Solicitation, Bidding, Contract Negotiation and Legal Aspects of Signing Contracts, Project Execution, and Safety & Excavation.

This is the third time LeChase has participated in the HCAC’s Construction Management Training program. The two previous programs were held in Durham.
