Avery Residence Hall project wins Eagle Award from ABC Carolinas

At a ceremony on November 6, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Avery Residence Hall Renovation and Addition project received a 2025 Excellence in Construction Eagle Award from the Associated Builders and Contractors Carolinas Chapter. The project won in the Renovations/Restorations: $25M – $50M category.

Work included replacing Avery’s heating and cooling system, adding a 4,570-SF addition with a new elevator and making additional improvements throughout the existing building to enhance comfort and accessibility.
