The University at Albany Colonial Quad project recently celebrated a safety milestone, marking 100,000 work hours without a lost-time incident. A team lunch was held to celebrate and thank the nearly 50 subcontractors who worked together to ensure that safety was the number one priority on the job. LeChase team members hosting the event were Project Executive Tim Hanke, Project Manager Kaleigh Kupiec, Project Engineer Brent Bochenek and Superintendent Rick Elsenbeck.
LeChase, through its Capital Region office, is the general contractor for the $37.8 million project, which will completely renovate the existing dormitory. The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2024.
