At a November 18 ceremony in New York City, the Legoland® New York Resort received an Award of Merit in the ENR New York 2022 Regional Best Projects competition. As first announced in September, the publication honored the resort in the Sports/Entertainment category.

LeChase served as construction manager for the 150-acre destination – the Northeast’s first new theme park in decades. Working in close collaboration with the park’s owner, Merlin Entertainments, LeChase built 64 buildings, including the 250-room resort hotel.

The project has also received national recognition – a 2022 Construction Risk Partners Build America Merit Award – from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America.
