Sands-Constellation Center honored for terra-cotta facade

Terreal North America, a provider of terra cotta building materials, has named the Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care its Large Module Project of the Year. Other than areas of glass, the Center’s entire façade is clad with red- and champagne-colored terra cotta panels.

An internal team at Terreal reviews recent projects and annually selects winners based on appearance, uniqueness, complexity and craftsmanship.

LeChase served as Construction Manager-at-Risk for the seven-story critical care facility, located at Rochester General Hospital. CPL was project architect; AJAY Glass installed the façade.
