RGH project team hosts site visit for RIT class

The project team working on Rochester General Hospital’s new Critical Care Center recently hosted a site visit for a group of RIT students. Michelle Schleher, senior construction project manager at RGH and an adjunct professor at RIT, had requested the tour for her class.

While many site tours focus on construction technology, this one was centered mainly on the business aspects of construction, with team members discussing the coordination, scheduling, planning and management that goes into delivering a multi-million dollar project.

Thanks to everyone who took time to give the students an informative and memorable experience, including Senior Project Manager Mike Morris, Superintendent Tony Rorick, Project Engineer Ryan Proud and Project Engineer Ian Crell.
