Great progress is being made at the SEFCU Arena project at the University at Albany. Steel for the upper level is currently underway and crews expect to be infilling with concrete soon.
LeChase’s NY Capital Region is the general contractor for rehabilitation of the existing 40,000-SF athletic arena. Once updated the new facility will feature two new team locker rooms, film room, player lounge and kitchen.
The new facility will seat up to 3,400 spectators. The project, which started in August, is expected to be completed in late 2023.
