Alstom | Car Body Shell Facility
This project involved the construction of a new manufacturing, office and warehouse facility to expand Alstom’s capacity for meeting North America’s needs in the rolling stock industry. The manufacturing building consists of space used for the construction of car body shells for rail cars and other processes. It includes overhead bridge cranes as well as air rotation and ventilation systems for worker safety. Additional structures include an office building, and warehouse space with loading docks and racking to store raw materials. Additional scope covered exterior work including parking lots, landscaping and hardscapes, fencing and gates, and placement of a permanent security building at the entrance. LeChase also self-performed concrete foundation work on the project.
