On May 11, nearly two dozen Rochester LeChase employees volunteered their time for United Way’s Day of Caring. This year, teams volunteered at two different sites: Villa of Hope, and the Seneca Park Zoo.
At the Villa of Hope – an organization dedicated to rebuilding relationships, recovering potential and renewing hope for the future – LeChase volunteered alongside a team from Excellus. Tasks included raking leaves, gardening, laying mulch and other yard work.
At the Zoo, teams from many different organizations, including LeChase, came together to make enhancements to the animal enclosures. Task included resurfacing the enclosures with mulch, gravel and stone to benefit the experience of the animals.
