LeChase strengthens resources with three new hires

ALBANY, N.Y., May 11, 2015 – LeChase Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Wassenaar as project engineer, Tim Molineux as project manager and Gary Maliszewski as project superintendent for the firm’s Albany region.

As project engineer, Wassenaar will assist with information requests, proposals, project estimation, equipment deliveries and progress meetings. Prior to joining the LeChase team, he worked as a project manager at Saratoga Project Management, Inc. Wassenaar is a graduate of Temple University and holds a B.S. in Civil and Construction Engineering Technology. He resides in Malta, N.Y., with his wife Laura.

In his new role as project manager, Molineux will assume management of multiple largescale construction initiatives from pre-bidding to completion, in addition to leading and mentoring cross-functional project teams. He will also be responsible for developing strong client relationships while ensuring the profitability, safety and quality of all work performed. Molineux brings 16 years of industry experience to the LeChase team. More recently, he worked at Albany Medical Center as a senior field engineer. Molineux graduated with honors from Hudson Valley Community College, earning an A.A.S. degree in Civil Engineering. He is also a graduate of the Associated General Contractors of New York State’s Future Construction Leaders Program. Molineux resides in Scotia, N.Y.

As project superintendent, Maliszewski will serve as an owner’s advocate and liaison during the various phases of construction—from the design, pre-bid and construction start-up phases through project completion and building occupancy. He will also work with team members and design professionals to optimize safety and quality while meeting budget demands and time constraints. Maliszewski brings 36 years of industry experience to the position. Prior to joining the LeChase team, he worked at U.W. Marx Construction as a construction superintendent. Maliszewski is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental  Design (LEED© ) Accredited Professional and certified OSHA 500 trainer. He resides in Charlton, N.Y., with his wife Arlen and son Ari.
