DURHAM, N.C., March 20, 2018 – LeChase Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Brooke Hathaway to regional safety director for the southeast.

In this role, Hathaway will ensure the company’s safety program – which continues to target a goal of zero incidents – is consistent across all job sites and offices in North Carolina and other southeast U.S. locations. Working with a team of regional and site safety managers in those areas, she will lead efforts around safety training, tracking and reporting.

She has more than 15 years of construction experience, largely on higher education and multi-family housing projects in North Carolina and Florida.

Hathaway has a B.S. in safety and environmental engineering technology from Fairmont State College (Fairmont, W.V.), and was recognized with the Director of Safety Award from Florida Atlantic University in 2006. She is active in North Carolina industry organizations, currently serving as chair of the Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC) Triangle Safety Committee, and as a member of the N.C. Department of Labor Carolina Star Northeast Team that recognizes effective safety and health management programs. She resides in Raleigh, N.C.
