LeChase hosts RIT group for tour of Bailey Road project

By April 18, 2018October 26th, 2018Community, Rochester, NY

RIT students who are members of the American Society of Civil Engineers recently had the opportunity to tour the Bailey Road jobsite where LeChase is working on a clinical laboratory building for the University of Rochester Medical Center.

The tour was part of the ASCE’s annual student night, allowing students to see an in-progress project near their campus. Greg Delahoy, the project co-op for LeChase who is also a member of RIT’s student chapter of ASCE, put the organization in contact with Project Manager Steve Corletta to arrange the visit.  The students got an overall walk through of the site, which includes construction of a 40,000 SF addition and about 55,000 SF of interior renovations.

Thanks go to Greg and Steve, as well as Superintendent Ed Polle and Project Executive Kevin Hoffman, for hosting the group.
