LeChase hires Cheryl Schmidt as director of organizational development

ROCHESTER, N.Y., September 2, 2015 – LeChase Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Cheryl Schmidt as director of organizational development.

In her new role, Schmidt will be responsible for development, facilitation and oversight of the firm’s “People Development” initiative, which includes competency-based analysis, training program development, performance management strategies and instructional systems design.

Schmidt brings more than 15 years of organizational development, human resource operations, talent acquisition and performance and career management experience to the LeChase team, having most recently served as director of organizational development for Rochester General Health System (RGHS). Prior to her tenure with RGHS, she served in multiple director-level positions, overseeing a wide range of human resource and
organizational development initiatives.

Schmidt earned her undergraduate degree and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Development from St. John Fisher College. She has served on a number of boards and committees in a human resources advisory capacity, and is a guest panelist at St. John Fisher College and Rochester Institute of Technology.

She resides in the Rochester area.
