LeChase representatives were on hand September 6 as Niagara County Community College (NCCC) held a ribbon cutting for its new Learning Commons. The center will provide a gathering space for students and serve as the new main entrance and focal point for the school, which is located north of Buffalo in Sanborn, N.Y.

Work started in February of 2017. The two-story Learning Commons was built in a courtyard adjacent to the NCCC library, which was renovated as part of the same project. The library’s first floor was updated to house a new daycare center, offices and art gallery, while upper floors received new finishes and computer workstation/IT upgrades.

LeChase served as general trades contractor for the project.

Images below show interior and exterior views of the new Learning Commons. In the top left photo, you can see the library to the left of the new building. The top right photo shows the construction site which was previously a courtyard between the library and a classroom building.
