LeChase helps celebrate ribbon cutting for St. James Hospital

On March 6, LeChase helped URMedicine celebrate the ribbon cutting for St. James Hospital in Hornell. LeChase served as CM-at-Risk for the 87,000-SF project, which started in the fall of 2017. Constructed to replace an existing facility, St. James is the first hospital to be built from the ground-up in New York State in the past five years.

The new St. James Hospital will provide a full range of inpatient and outpatient services and incorporate the latest technologies and energy-efficient infrastructure. It includes 15 inpatient beds, a state-of-the-art emergency department, a full surgical department, lab services, a pharmacy, a complete range of advanced imaging services, infusion services and more. A third-floor area houses mechanical infrastructure including air handlers and hot water boilers.

The new hospital is scheduled to open for patients on March 17.
