LeChase graduates second Building Leaders class

On August 21, LeChase held a graduation event for the second annual class in its Building Leaders program.

Conducted in partnership with Dale Carnegie of Rochester, the program aims to build professional and personal leadership skills. Over four months, participants attend eight sessions. Topics range from speaking skills to building confidence to key aspects of leadership. Although sessions are held in Rochester, attendees – nominated by their unit leaders – came from functional groups and operations across New York.

The 2019 program started in May. At the August event, graduates shared their key learnings and told how they will use skills acquired in the course. Two graduates who were unable to attend even prepared video comments for the event.

Staff and regional leaders were on hand to say a few words and present certificates of achievement to the graduates. LeChase senior leaders and trainers from Dale Carnegie also attended, as did some 2018 program alumni who served as mentors this year.

Congratulations to the 2019 Building Leaders graduates: Donald Banks (Syracuse), David Batrony (Environmental, Health & Safety), Aaron Castro (Armonk), Steve Corletta (Rochester), Steve DeLucia (Finance), Sean Hoban (Rochester), Scott Hoffman (Buffalo), Michael Hogue (Corning), Christopher Kelly (Binghamton), Patrick Kirsch (Preconstruction), Jeff Maurer (Rochester), Adrienne Panella (Conifer-LeChase), Stephanie Pennington (Legal/XBE), Christopher Preston (Preconstruction), Tim Schirmer (Marketing), Matthew Sciliano (Armonk), Sabrina Shirley (Binghamton), Jack Susman (Conifer-LeChase), Linda Vitale (Finance) and Jacob Youngman (Rochester).
