LeChase celebrates WIC Week with site tours

To celebrate Women in Construction Week many LeChase regions held project site tours with their local National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) chapters.

356 Hertel

Project Manager Caitlin Lattanzio led a NAWIC Buffalo Niagara site tour of one of her projects, 356 Hertel. Students from McKinley High School we able to walk the site and learn a little about the construction industry and what it takes to manage a project.

University at Buffalo Foster Hall

LeChase hosted a NAWIC Buffalo Niagara site tour at the Foster Hall project at the University at Buffalo, where Regional Safety Manager Nicole Rua led students from Erie 1 BOCES through the project site. LeChase is the construction manager on the project which will convert Foster Hall’s lab-intensive building to general academic space for the graduate school of education.

University of Rochester Laboratory for Laser Energetics

The University of Rochester Laser Lab team led members of NAWIC Rochester on a site tour of the expansion project. When complete, the addition will include new cleanrooms, office space as well as shell spaces for future fit outs.

Murray-Massenburg Elementary School

The Southeast team closed out the week with a site tour of the Durham Public Schools Murray-Massenburg Elementary School project for NAWIC Triangle members. The new, three-story, 134,000-SF elementary school will house 800 students from pre-k through fifth grade.
