LeChase celebrates Careers in Construction Month

To celebrate Careers in Construction Month, LeChase participated in career fairs across our regions.

In Rochester, members of the LeChase team attended the third annual College FEST at the Rochester Institute of Technology. This event, put together by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and CampusROC, brings together students from 11 local colleges and universities to connect with potential employers. More than 1000 students attended the event. Members of the Rochester team also attended the “GLOW with Your Hands” career exploration event at the Genesee County Fairgrounds and Rochester Careers in Construction Day.

In Central New York, LeChase participated in career and internship fairs at both the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Syracuse University. The team also attended the Utica Construction Management Expo to connect with students interested in careers in construction management. Similarly, members of the LeChase Corning team participated in another career fair at Alfred State. A New York Capital Region team attended a high school career fair at Averill Park CSD. The fair was a great opportunity to expose students to the many different workforce opportunities available after high school or college.

In the Southeast, LeChase participated in many different career fairs across the North Carolina to share information about LeChase and possibilities in the construction industry. The team connected with students at Appalachian State University, East Carolina University, UNC Charlotte and Western Carolina University.

Through all of these events, LeChase had the opportunity to meet thousands of students and share the many different career paths available within the construction industry.
