Don Keenan, project manager in LeChase’s Corning and Binghamton offices, has earned two certifications related to building enclosures. Keenan took the Building Enclosure Commissioning Course through the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Completion requires more than 20 hours of course time and a final exam. Based on his test scores, Keenan received both possible certifications:
Accredited Building Enclosure Commissioning Process Provider (BECxP), which recognizes technical expertise in building enclosures and building science; and- Accredited Commissioning Authority + Building Enclosure (CxA + BE), which recognizes sufficient building enclosure knowledge to lead a commissioning process team and manage a project that involves enclosures.
