On Friday, March 15, Barker Central School District officially broke ground on a new state-of-the-art, multi-purpose, synthetic, turf field stadium. LeChase joined our partners at SEI Design Group as well as Barker CSD administrators and board members in celebrating the start of the project.
The new facility will provide year-round access to a playing and practice surface for Barker CSD student-athletes. The field will be used for interscholastic play by the football, soccer, baseball, softball and field hockey teams, as well as for physical education classes. The stadium complex will include accessible bleachers for up to 400 spectators, a press box, scoreboard and a state-of-the-art lighting system.
LeChase is the construction manager on the project, which is expected to be complete in fall of 2024.
