Easter Feast feeds spirit of Durham Volunteers

The Durham Rescue Mission’s annual Easter Feast was held on March 30, and for the third year LeChase Durham office volunteers were on hand to help. Hundreds of children and parents attended the event, where food, clothing and Easter baskets are distributed. This year, volunteers served more than 700 pounds of barbecue and more than 500 hot dogs. They also handed out more than 1200 Easter baskets – some donated by Durham office employees. LeChase employees and family members worked in the clothing area, where they set up racks and racks of donated items to be given away. Those who attended said the experience truly fed their spirits and souls. A huge thank you goes to Priscilla Reed for leading and coordinating the LeChase volunteer team, which also included Santos Aguliar, Kyle Goodrich, AJ Mullins, Kathryn Payne and Denise Thompson.
