Durham team gets out and about at local, regional events

Durham team members represented LeChase at several local and regional events during the month of March.

NCEDA
Seth London attended the North Carolina Economic Development Association’s 2019 Spring Conference in Pinehurst. The overarching theme centered around Tomorrow’s Workforce Today. “I enjoyed the networking and discussions around the workforce as well as the great remarks from Chris Chung, president and CEO of EDPNC about the active industry pursuits in our state,” said Seth. NCEDA conferences provide the opportunity for economic development professionals from across North Carolina to expand their knowledge, sharpen their skills and build connections so they can advance their careers and better serve the needs of their communities.

Matt Kenne, Duran Davis and Cameron Jones attended the 2019 North Carolina Healthcare Engineers Association (NCHEA) Spring Seminar in Pinehurst, NC. Organized in 1952, the NCHEA is a not-for-profit, incorporated association dedicated to serving and promoting the health care engineering profession.

The Spring Seminar event provided engaging speakers as well as educational opportunities for attendees.

Women Take No Bull
As Durham is known as “Bull City, it’s fitting the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce celebrates International Women’s Day with the “Women Take No Bull” conference.

Denise Barnes and Valerie Bono attended this year’s event, which attracts women from across the Triangle Region. This was the third year for the conference, which features panel discussions, exhibits, networking opportunities, lunch and a keynote address to inspire women to take action in every aspect of their lives.
