University of Rochester | Rush Rhees Library iZone Renovation

This project involved renovating 14,500 SF of existing space in the Rush Rhees Library to accommodate activities of the iZone – a university program to help students interact and learn how to turn their ideas into unique solutions to address real-world problems. The scope of work included new lighting, sprinklers, millwork, ceilings, flooring, painting, glass walls and offices. Booth study seating was also added to provide more student workspaces. Additionally, specialty wood flooring was installed to create tiered steps to be used for lectures and orientations.
