Strong National Museum of Play | Museum Expansion & Parking Structure

Already the largest cultural attraction in Western New York, the Strong National Museum of Play is expanding to serve even more visitors. A new five-level, 330,000-SF cast-in-place parking structure offers space for about 1,000 vehicles and features a unique façade comprised of 352 6 x 6-inch steel tubes in 15 different colors. LeChase self-performed concrete – providing labor, materials and equipment for the garage’s foundations, flatwork and superstructure. The next phase of the project is a four-level, 100,000-SF museum expansion that will provide space for the World Video Game Hall of Fame, a two-story gallery and open lobby. The project also includes renovations to the museum’s café, gift shop, restrooms and offices.
