NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital | New Parking Deck
LeChase is design-builder for a 500-space parking deck at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital’s future offices and state-of-the-art ambulatory care center in White Plains, N.Y. The three-level deck, which will rise between two buildings on the 25-acre campus, will be assembled from prefabricated sections. The exterior will feature precast concrete elements to blend in with both the area’s natural rock and the architecture of existing buildings. A solar array on the deck will power the deck’s lights, elevator and security system, and may even provide extra power for other uses. Construction will take about 12 months, with the deck ready for use when the medical facility opens.
