On Friday, May 17, many members of LeChase’s NY Capital Region team volunteered their time to give back to the community.
One group represented LeChase at United Way of the Greater Capital Region‘s annual 518 Day of Giving. Participating groups are matched with local organizations based on the type of work needed at each site. The LeChase team was paired with Creative Connections Clubhouse, an organization that provides a variety of services and programs for children and young adults who have, or are at risk of developing, an addiction. Together with a group from Hannaford, the team revitalized the property at 17 Lefferts Avenue in Amsterdam with fresh paint, landscaping, new stairs and a new fence.
On the same day, another group of LeChase employees participated in The Charton School’s sixth annual Equine Expo, connecting with the students and supporting the school’s equine therapy program.
