On May 30, LeChase joined the Humane Society of Wayne County in a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of work on the organization’s new facility.
LeChase President Kyle Sayers spoke at the event, highlighting how the updated facility will benefit both the animals and the wider Wayne County community. LeChase Regional Operations Manager Eric Colavecchio also attended the event, along with project team members Ryan Morse and Ben Dancy.
When complete, the one-story, 10,000-SF building will provide a modern, efficient space for animal care and staff operations. LeChase is serving as general contractor on the project, which is expected to be completed by spring 2026.
