LeChase recently welcomed Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) students from a construction management class and the school’s Associated General Contractors (AGC) club for tours of the Occupational Therapy project.
During the visit, students walked through the project with the team and discussed topics including the proposal and bidding process, budgeting, contract execution, subcontractor management and change order tracking. It was a great opportunity to show students how what they are learning in class translates to the field.
LeChase is serving as the construction manager on the project, which will transform and repurpose a nearby hotel for RIT’s occupational therapy program.
