NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital | Ambulatory Surgery Unit

The renovation of 17,800 SF of vacant space on the 2nd floor of the New York-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY, created a new ambulatory surgery unit. This allowed the hospital to move the existing unit from the 4th floor, making room for a new labor and delivery wing. Renovations created 13 new patient bays, endoscopy procedure rooms, pre and post-operation bays, a dedicated nurses’ station, a reception/waiting area, bathrooms, locker rooms, and a break area for staff. Crews performed work while the hospital remained fully operational, with Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) processes used to protect air and water quality during construction.
