LeChase CEO and Managing Partner Bill Goodrich talks to the Rochester Business Journal about his career and the company’s celebration of 75 years in construction.
LeChase was one of six general contractors to recently participate in the Hispanic Contractors Association of the Carolinas (HCAC) Construction Management Training program.
Thankfully LeChase project sites did not sustain damage from Hurricane Florence, as the storm shifted to the west and its winds died down to a category 1 before making landfall. Unfortunately, we have a few employees whose homes at the eastern coast of North Carolina sustained substantial damage.
The week of May 7 – 11 was an important one for safety in construction. Across the industry, companies held events as part of the annual Construction Safety Week; at the same time, OSHA – with support from the National Safety Council and dozens of other groups – promoted National Fall Safety Stand-Down Week to encourage employers to address fall protection and safety.
LeChase has won the 2018 CX-cellence Award for Innovative Client Experience Strategy in the Compelling Brand Category. This award recognizes LeChase’s Customer Care Program and its endeavor to help the company develop outstanding experiences for its clients.
In May, for the first time, LeChase held a companywide event to welcome its summer interns. Of the 25 interns scheduled to work across the company this summer, 16 were able to attend the event live in Rochester, four attended in person with the North Carolina leadership team and others linked in via broadcast. Those who had not yet started will receive regional welcomes when coming on board.
About this Office
Since LeChase opened its Charlotte office more than 20 years ago, the local team has witnessed steady growth in the surrounding area. “Not only is Charlotte now home to more than 10 Fortune 1000 companies, it consistently ranks as one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S.,” noted Jack Goodrich, LeChase vice president in North Carolina.
The Charlotte team has deep expertise in managing construction in the K-12 market and, like their colleagues in Durham, they take pride in building long-term partnerships with clients. Vice President Seth London added: “The southeast team is proud to work with existing and new partners – from the mountains, to the ocean and everywhere in between.”
