Construction Services, LLC is firmly committed to maintaining
the safest possible jobsite for our employees, subcontractors
and the owners we build for. We constantly strive to
improve our safety record primarily for humanitarian
reasons, but also for the economic benefits we can share
with our employees and clients. The personal safety
and health of each employee of our team is of primary
importance. We believe that our employees are our most
important asset and that their safety at the work site
is our greatest responsibility. The prevention of occupationally
induced injuries and illnesses is of such consequence
that it will be given precedence over operating productivity
whenever necessary.
Safety starts at the top, filters down through all levels
and is the responsibility of every employee. To be successful,
the program must embody the proper attitude toward injury
and illness prevention on the part of corporate management,
supervisors and employees. First, line supervisors must
be responsible and accountable for the safety of their
employees. Planning, scheduling and communicating safety
is the key to our success.
LeChase's full-time safety director, Peter Sidell is a veteran of the Department of Labor – Occupational
Safety and Health Administration. His responsibility is to create
a Zero-Injury Work Force. Aside from his extensive knowledge
of construction safety and health, his passion for a safe
work place and the people who work there is his greatest asset.
At LeChase, we expect every person who is involved in the affairs
of our company, regardless of their position,
to be responsible for safety in all things they do. We are responsible to each other and for each other when it comes to safety.
