Since 1984, Steve Bills’ career has been focused solely on construction management. He began his employment at LeChase Construction in 1994, and was promoted to project executive shortly thereafter to concentrate on LeChase’s health care clients. In 1999, he was named senior vice president and principal in order to concentrate on geographic expansion and business development for LeChase.
Prior to LeChase, Mr. Bills was the construction manager for Thompson Health Systems, Inc. This position provided valuable, first-hand experience in understanding issues unique to the health care market from a true owner’s perspective.
Mr. Bills’ vast project experience includes working with clients such as Thompson Health Systems, Unity Health System, University of Rochester Medical Center, Bassett Healthcare, Cornell University and Bausch & Lomb Pharmaceuticals, among many others.
Early in his career, Mr. Bills acted as project manager for Morse Diesel International and Construction Advisors East. Previous to these positions, Mr. Bills was a construction manager for Agway, Inc. in the Building and Engineering division.
Mr. Bills is a member of several affiliations including the Rochester Heart Institute Advisory Panel, the American Hospital Association and the Society of Health Care Engineers. He also acts as an Alumni Advisor for Cornell University’s Entrepreneurship and Personal Enterprise Program.
Mr. Bills holds a B.S. in Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He lives with his wife and three children in Victor, New York.
